Does anyone know if I delete a comment from a Facebook page if the original poster gets notified? If so, that's fine, I'll deal with her, because it can't stay there, but I just want to know what kind of fallout I'll have to deal with and how much plausible deniability I can maintain.

I think it depends on how they have things set up. I don't think there's a notifier for the deletion, but if the OP had notifications set to email, it's likely they already received the comment via email, and could notice that it's not there anymore.
I kinda hate the way fb handles stuff like that.
Today I accidentally deleted all the previous fb messages to and from my SO because I was trying to delete a message I'd sent him, when I thought I was texting. It had kinda sensitive info in it, so I didn't want to have screwed up and sent it anywhere I didn't intend. But I didn't want to delete everything!
