Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C - how many days would this cruise take?

It's just for the weekend, very short. Miami to the Bahamas. I figure the boat goes to the Bahamas on Friday, we Bahama it up over the weekend, and then we boat back on Monday. But the flyer has absolutely zero details because whatever, we're Indian, we don't know how to make websites (spoiler warning: there is no "more info" anywhere).

would you be able to have a room of your own, or share with a stranger?

It looks like everyone has roomies.

And, most importantly - would you be able to go off in a corner and read if you wanted or would togetherness be enforced?

I...I hope so?

I can never decide if I would love a cruise or not.

I've actually enjoyed the cruises I've gone on with my family. But I had my brother to hang out with.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Well, almost anything's endurable for a weekend. You might get a nice nerd for a roommate. Would the cost be prohibitive?

The cost of the cruise seems to be pretty cheap. It's getting to Miami that's expensive, although it looks like I have enough FF miles to do it.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Look at it this way, your normal routines have not yet yielded a girl, so doing something out-of-the-ordinary, might be just the thing. Couldn't hurt, anyway.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It looks like everyone has roomies.

That would be my deal breaker. But if you can get through that and want to have more Indians in your life and possibly to date, consider it.

Yeah, that's sort of what I'm looking at. It could be a fun, ridiculous adventure. Looks like I can take a red-eye to Miami and, I don't know, look for Dexter until the boat leaves. We don't have any Buffistas in Miami, do we?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Isn't Laura in the Keys?

P-C, just about anything is bearable for a weekend. At the very least, sun, ocean, swimming, decent food? Can't be all bad and could be a lot of fun. I say do it!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Liese, thoughts for your students.

P-C, I'm always in favour of new experiences, as long as you think you can handle the always-in-company-ness of it. A cruise sounds rather fun.

Plus, it'll give me stories to tell at the F2F!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Isn't Laura in the Keys?

She's more towards the middle of the state.
