On the plus side, I got some great responses to my monologue last night. I only hope I get a chance to see it performed. Right now, I'm not sure I will, as the monologue show starts before I can get there, after Spring Awakening ends.

I'm home between shows, and I stopped and bought a nasal wash squeeze bottle and used that to blast warm saline solution into my ear. Two big chunks of wax, the size of a marble (each!) came out.
But more importantly, I CAN HEAR!
Seriously, there is nothing sadder and more pathetic than a sound engineer who can't hear.

Yay! My brother gets wax like that. You probably need to put drops in from time to time to prevent it from building up again. Hearing is a very good thing.

Yeah, clearing out the right ear has made clear that I should probably use the kit to clean out the left ear now. I can hear out of it, but there's such a big difference between the two ears now that it's clear there's a bit of buildup in the left one.
