Talked to dad tonight. His spirits are good. He's finished week 3 of 8. Starting to feel the side effects, but immodium is helping. At one point, he made a comment of feeling like popcorn in the microwave, and I asked if there is a nice "ding" at the end of each treatment. He was laughing for a couple minutes on that one. Loved it.

Earlier today I was so happy, I almost couldn't stand it. Driving across Lake Pontchartrain on a beautiful day, windows down and wind ruffling my new haircut, listening to the Beastie Boys. And then I fell into a nasty, gloomy mood tonight - the insecurity demons are nibbling hard. Took a half a Xanax and finished a book, but it wasn't one to lift the mood and now I can't sleep. I thibk I'm going to have to take another half. I'm feeling overwhelmed, and stressed about money, and unsure of my relationship with StW. Is it ever going to go anywhere? Can I make it to the summer without forcing another discussion that could push him away? Do I really want to have a LTR with an introvert doctor with a tendency to workaholism?
Meh, is what I am trying to say. MEH.

My right ear is clogged with wax and I can't hear out of it. I have one weekend left to mix on the show I'm working. We put forth a ton of effort yesterday to make sure the show ROCKS for the final weekend, and now I can't hear. I don't know how I'm going to mix if I can't hear.

Get thee to a drugstore! Get some earwax melting oil and use it! Then get a bulb syringe and use warm water to flush it out. It will take a few tries but that is how I fix it when this happens to me. Or, you could go to Urgent Care and they might do it for you.

Can't do urgent care, but I'm doing the ear-wax cleaning kit right now. A ton of wax has come out, but I still can't hear. Hopefully will be better by the morning.
