In other fuck cancer news, I found out today that my head of school (who is 45) learned during spring break that her husband has an aggressive, stage 4 cancer and a very poor prognosis. He is also in his 40s. They have two daughters.
Pix, I missed this when I was reading this morning. I'm so sorry; that's very sad.
Smonster, ~ma for Xusha.
Baby horses are always good in the morning. Most baby critters are good for a pick-me-up.
Laura, sending you and Bobby many hugs. How awful for him and his classmates.
MRI~ma, sumi.
Also, ~ma to PixKristen's co-worker's DH. Fuck cancer.
Nice seeing your pixels, Seska! And glad to hear you had a nice visit to Israel. Shir is a rock star.
{{{Bitches}}} This has been an ass shitty week for many of us. Hugs to all who want them and glitter for all. Because glitter? Makes everyone happy. (As long as it's magic disappearing glitter that doesn't have to be cleaned up. Which Bitch Glitter totally is.)
Much -ma for sumi, and for Kristen's co-worker's husband.
I don't have any glitter, except on my toenails, but I will donate the feeling of a happy tabby cat smiling and purring on my lap on a chilly spring day to the cause. (She's actually NOT impinging on my writing for once.)
MRI~ma, sumi. I'm sorry about your co-worker's husband, Pix.
OK, I am going to try and change the conversation. Mind you, this is not to disregard all the shit that is going down. Tons of ~ma to everyone, because, Fuck Cancer! But, we need a lively conversation, and the universe has us stuck in cancer mode. And we all agree, FUCK CANCER!
On Sunday, I was at a party, and when it was winding down, about 6 or so of us, one of the folks, started asking the most BIZARRE questions. Turns out they are from this survey about toilet habits. Things ya just don't talk about, but everyone does. It was rather surprising some of the conversations of "why do you do that..." because everyone thinks the way I wipe is how everyone wipes, or whatever. Here is a link to the survey. On my iPad, and on Firefox on the laptop, it wasn't showing me the results (grrr), but it's rather interesting questions.

Again, I'm not trying to shy away from the call for ~ma. Just trying to get a lively conversation going. Of course, as I type this, I will be very much occupied with work for the rest of the day, and most of tomorrow. But eh, a guy has to try.
