Quiet day here today. I left my phone at home accidentally when we went to the new house, so I had to spend my day without buffistas. We pulled down about half of the wallpaper in the living room today and scraped all the glue underneath. I told TCG that he should have take a picture because no one would believe I was doing that.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yay, sj!!
Good luck to your son, Laura, for his sake and yours.
I had trouble sleeping last night, so I took my last flexeril ::sob:: and some Tylenol with codeine. Oh, man, I slept so hard. I think my chronic pain fucks with the quality of my sleep. And the flexeril really gave me a "reset," I've had a lot less pain today. So that's a good thing to confirm, that my tight muscles contribute greatly to my pain.
I'm listening to the TIA episode where they talk to Mike Daisey *after* they've found out that he lied. Good gravy, he comes off as an arrogant and kind of slimy.
I'm either being the nicest guy, or making the stupid mistake of soon-to-be-over life. One of the conference attendees who lives up in Santa Maria was too tired to drive home. She's still out of work, and trying to start off in the business. I said she could crash on my couch for the night. I hope she's not an axe murderer or a klepto or anything. She seem real sweet gal. So, again. Either I'm a real nice guy, or a real sorry one. Let's hope my instincts are good on this one. I'll try and check in before noon, so ya know I'm not wood chipper material.
Oh well, poor omnis, only the good die young. You'll be missed.
not dead yet. woke up early. the hall light is still on, which was the privacy code for me to stay in my room. sooo. she hasn't killed me yet. hopefully not packing up the living room in her luggage.
now if i could get my back to stop hurrting, that would be swell. i only have a few non-fused vertebre at the bottom. trying to figure out which way to stretch them.
omnis,
your posts are making me laugh, so I can appreciate your humor in the face of uncertainty.
good! they are meant to be tongue in cheek. with a hint of "i dunno".
now... i was smart enough to bring a big glass of water in my room. alas... i am hungry.
Glad you're not dead yet
It's funny how the brain works. I mean. I know there are con artists out there who prey upon folks with good in their hearts. And I know the neighbors sometimes say "He was such a nice man" when talking about a serial killers. And I'm not always the best at reading people. But, I hope that I read her correctly. And she didn't leave the hall light on, in hopes to keep me "politely trapped" in my bedroom, to increase the time for her escape with my xbox, appleTV, laptop, TV (although she is on the small side, that would take some doing). Or rummage through my papers and abscond with my identity. Yes, sometimes I do over-think things. Or perhaps, watch too much TV. Thankfully, not so much as to keep my heart from allowing her to drive 3 hours at 11pm after a long day at the convention. As much as I would hate to have to replace my few wordly items, I'd hate more to learn of her careening off the road as she fell asleep on Highway 101 (not the straitest of roads in some stretches).
(come to think of it, the laptop is still there... I tried to watch the latest MERLIN on my iPad, but the laptop hadn't downloaded it yet, but it showed everything else in my library!)
Omnis, glad to hear you're not dead.
Time for another day of wallpaper removal.
