Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, Pix. That is pretty overwhelming to deal with all at once.

Our wings are not tired.

I am sorry about the sucky stress, Pix. Most of us surely know that one. Too much from all directions.

BT, thank you for the joyful pics! What a lovely way to start the day.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Oh, man, that really is a mountain of suckitude, Pix. Sending all kinds of pet~ma and financial~ma in your direction. Also to smonster and other Buffistas facing similar situations.

BT, that is one beautiful family! Cheered my day right up.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, billytea, I love all those pictures! I just want to smish Ryan's little cheeks. He looks so happy and confident! And you and Wallybee are such a wonderful couple. Thank you for sharing them.

Pix, I'm very sorry to hear that finances are getting so overwhelming. Been there, done that, couldn't afford the t-shirt.

I am kicking ass and taking names. I have sorted one entired file box, getting rid of about 90% of the paper in it by recycling or shredding. One down... four to go? Or so? Haven't found a copy of my birth cert or my folder of moving expenses yet (which were the impetus to start this today) but it feels good to purge, baby, purge. I think I'll do another 15 minutes or so and then break for lunch.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Damn. I have...gotten out of bed at noon (I couldn't fall asleep until after 3:00), eaten some granola, thrown laundry in the washer, and e-mailed my mom a picture of a package of frozen polenta. (No, really -- it's the Polenta Provencale that TJs sells, and she can't find it when she shops there. Why she can't just ask someone who works there where the polenta is, I have no idea.)

Now I am going to throw laundry in the dryer, throw more laundry in the washer, and make crockpot granola. And possibly clean the bathroom.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Go, smonster, go!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Go smonster go!

This morning I was up super early (for me) and have proceeded to dither the entire extra time away by jacking around with astrid and producteev. Classic Liese, wasting time by playing with productivity tools. Ooh, I also need to waste time by setting up expensify better. But when I do, then I can divest myself of the boxes of receipts! After going through them for receipts over $50, of course. Hmm. Maybe that's counter productive. I should maybe just file the existing ones and only retain above $50 going forward.

Okay. The problem with getting up early is that I'm hungry again early. So I shall refortify, and recommence productiveness, and it will be fine, because it will be like I slept to a normal hour.

Oh, yeah.

Still haven't found what I'm looking for (sorry for the earworm!!) but I did find my car title (which I think I need to register my car here) and my extra car keys.

Time for lunch.

Maybe save them for sorting while watching tv or other mindless activity time?

Steph, I'm kind of alternating productive and non-productive days.
