Anybody know anything fun/relaxing to do in Central PA?
How are the local leaves? The big festival in my college town of Clarion, PA (roughly northwest of you) was the Autumn Leaf Festival around this time of year.

I was thinking about just driving into the mountains and looking at the foliage, but it's still a bit too green for that. I'm pretty sure it's too cold for white water rafting -- it's not supposed to get above 60 degrees, and they're predicting rain all weekend.
So far, I've found some caverns that give tours, but they warn that there are a lot of stairs and it's not accessible to people with disabilities. Also found an environmental center that rehabilitates injured birds, but their website isn't very clear about what you can see if you just drop in without something scheduled. The next weekend, there's some Halloween and fall stuff, included one festival where they use a catapult to hurl pumpkins into a lake.
Aside from that, I've found quite a few different museums of various sorts of antique transportation.

I can understand looking at the odds and deciding that the amount of time chemo and radiation might buy you isn't worth it. However, if someone has a cancer that has a good rate of survival with medical treatment and chooses coffee enemas and carrot juice instead, I'm going to argue until I'm sure there's no chance of changing his mind. I also think that television portrayals of cancer treatment usually reflect the state of cancer treatment 30 years ago. If I have one message for people from my experience, it is that chemo and radiation is not that bad.
