Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Yes, you will indeed learn. DH was amazed at my power tool collection when he first met me. Have house, have collection of DIY books. YouTube is our best friend now.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yes, children, once all we had were well-thumbed Time-Life home repair books. I'm going to hug the internet now.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Dear handy home repair DIY people: PLEASE COME TO OUR HOUSE. Please. DIY clothing? No problem. Any sort of home repair thing? Oh no. We do not have those skills.

I have finished packing the big suitcase for this weekend. My fancy fancy outfit, Cass' fancy fancy outfit, corsets, spare hat, spare boots, and ... regular clothes. If I could travel with a steamer trunk and a footman, I would, dammit. But the Vampire Ball is going to be fabulous.

I would trade home repair for clothing alteration! Would that we had transporter technology.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I have finished packing the big suitcase for this weekend.

And I have taken all of the donation stuff out of my trunk. By actually going and donating it! It's exclamation point worthy because now your suitcase (and you) will actually fit in my car. That was not the case earlier today.

I've hung onto a couple of useful books, mainly Fix It Fast, Fix It Right and a fat Time-Life Complete Fix-It book, plus books about things I think I might do in a hypothetical future in which I have money, health, time, motivation and a chop saw.

I would like a book--I would trust it more than the internet.

Sadly, smonster, I have no plumbing help.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh dear gods am I tired. I've been cleaning, sorting, and organizing for the past seven hours and every part of me aches. I still have to do both bedrooms (the guest room will be quick; our bedroom nsm as I plan to begin the Great Spring Clothing Purge of 2012), and I couldn't finish the floors because I ran out of Swiffer wet thingys, but the rest of the house SPARKLES. And smells good, which is always tricky with five furry critters. I think I need to call it a day, though. Not only am I sore as hell, but I haven't eaten dinner yet and still have to work on taxes with ND when he gets home. I am torn between feeling really too old for this level of deep cleaning and really proud of myself.
