Never mind on the beta thing, I decided to give the finger to my perfectionist/anxiety impulses and just send it off.
My former former employer had sent me a corrected W-2c, and thinking (but not checking) that it had all the info the original had, I shredded my W-2 from them (trying to deal with a little paper clutter). Yeah, NSM. But after a 20-second freakout, I called the accounting firm and they're going to email me a copy! YAY.
I have a bunch of errands to run, and I'm debating whether to combine them all into a Target trip or if that way lies madness and spending waaay too much money. I am also in desperate need of a haircut and the student studio I want to try is out there. Plus, I need to recycle glass and it's the only place in the metro area to do so. Hmm...

Got the W-2... I made 15K gross less in 2011 than 2010 (due to job change and then unemployment). I feel better about how broke I am, and definitely motivated to fix that trend.
The door blew open and the other door blew open and Penny escaped.
Luckily Penny actually comes when she's called. She was hiding under the steps (and the house where there's a corner).
I figured out how to fix the door to keep it closed so I don't think I'll have another escape.

Yes, I got to meet Sox and HPF today, and it was lovely! As are they. I'm glad to have such an awesome neighbor.
InCompletelyON - I randomly picked up a basil plant starter kit at the drugstore last week, and it's sprouting. Who knew teeny, little green leaves could bring such joy? I feel like the "I have made fire!" scene from Castaway, except with a plant.
