Steph, I'm so sorry.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm really sorry, Tep. And what Hec said rings very true for me: work losses are huge, and leave holes just as big as you'd expect for someone who lives in 1/3 of your time, and yet they aren't mourned in the same way as the ones where the main connection is an emotional one. They feel strange and unmoored and almost harder to resolve, in some ways. I know your workplace is pretty small and tight, with a lot of people who have worked together for a long time: I hope you can all find comfort.
I'm sorry, Steph.
So the nip-it-in-the-bud plan seems to be working, and several mutual friends have responded that this guy has been freaking them out for over a year now.
What was shocking was how fast it went from me very politely and clearly trying to draw a boundary with him to SCARY ENERGY CREATURE INFECTING MY ENTIRE LIFE!
But it's over for now, I hope. Leaving it behind to go mix an awesome show, and be and bask in awesomeness.
Much health~ma to your grandfather, smonster.
Deserving of its own post, your grandfather is in my thoughts, smonster.
Sean, I hope that's the end of it.
smonster, much ~ma for your grandfather.

I thought immediately of this classic Daniel Clowes cover.
Ha! Yeah, that's about right, Hec.
