Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Excited!!! My first trial was a M/M romance novella, and my 2nd a light BDSM historical novella.

I am THRILLED. WOO!

Thanks, guys!

Our wings are not tired.

Erin, that is fantastic! Is that a steady, reliable income? At one point do you surpass your income as teacher? (I ask because I am curious but also because these are the questions I am trying to figure out for myself now that I'm consulting.)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Fun stuff, Erin.

I have convinced Frankie it's okay to nom his treat. His tail is still tucked, but it's better.

Man, I wish I had milk for my tea. Well, I do, but it's expired and I think sour.

Well, it SHOULD be reliable and steady -- not salaried or full-time, but I should have a better idea of how much they'll work me in a month or two.

So I can't answer the second part of the question yet...but I am hoping that this, in addition to becoming part of another client's stable of regular freelancers will push the income to... .well, maybe not what I was making as a FT teacher with 2 Master's and the years of experience, but close?

Definitely past what I was making as an adjunct professor, personally though, unless I am terribly wrong about how many gigs I get per month.

I hope!

Oh that's really great for only being months in to going freelance!

Woot! Congrats Erin! Great news!

Good luck Jilli! Knock em outta their boots!!

ION- had a strange thing happen this morning. Had an 8:30am meeting, which is 2 hours earlier than my normal time to arrive on campus (I come in late because I am not a morning person, and traffic is horrible at that hour). Anyhow, I had hit snooze on all my alarms many-a-time. And then I was awoken by my arm going above my head, elbow pointing up, and dropped down onto the bed. As if some Tinkerbell picked up my elbow and dropped it again to try and wake me. I mean, it worked! But... how weird is that? The alarm wasn't going off, so it wasn't a floppy arm on return trip from smaking snooze. Crazy! Cool. But crazy! So? Um. If I do have some kind of guardian angel/fairie/whatever watching over me, can ya point out the women who like me? Cuz I'm clueless there. OK. Thanks!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hmm, your guardian angel may be Tinkerbell herself, omnis, wasn't she the jealous type?
