I went to work today, someone was sick. then there was a scheduling snafu (this happens fairly often) so we were caught with minimal coverage, but luckily it was in the afternoon when things were kinda slow.

I may get called in tomorrow, but I'm kinda hoping I don't. Partly because it's SO PRETTY! outside, also tomorrow it might get up to 81F. And they haven't been turning on the a/c at work so it's been hot and uncomfortable.

And I scored another, most probably steady, freelance writing gig for the place I co-work out of once a week! HELLS YEAH!

Now I go into hunter mode. Erin hungry. Need food now. Eat leg. Get back pronouns.

We have worked out a compromise with the seller, who really is a wonderfully reasonable person. We are no longer getting cash back at closing, but he has come down significantly on the price. It is still going to be tighter for us than I wanted it to be but it is doable.

In continuing good news, the nice doll people have let me know that my Ms. Beetlejuice doll will arrive on Thursday. (Pete said "You're getting a doll for my birthday? Typical." ) AND the other nice lady at the Wilde Imagination company emailed me to ask which of their dolls I want first. (!!!) I've asked for the Dandy of Death: [link]
