It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

IFTTT is pretty sweet for platforms that would otherwise not talk to each other. (Tumblr, I'm glaring at you.)

What is even happening?

Dana, what is IFTTT?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hey ya'll -- I wanted to let you know that I'm a small business financial consultant, and while I specialize in non-profits I've worked with for-profits too. So if you have a quick ask, you're always welcome to ping me and ask for something specific! (Not as a paid consultant, just because I'm familiar with business practices and I love you people.)

You can ping me... hm. How can you ping me. I guess my profile addy is the best way, or skype or FB messenger. Anyway, always happy to help!

Our wings are not tired

That's an excellent thing to know. As my business keeps growing I always seem to have more questions.

Pal, you will never, ever stop having questions. It's why I dig the work--there's always so much research. And I am a nerd.

Compassionately intolerant

Hey, everybody, I'm thinking of switching from Thunderbird as my email client on a Mac and am looking for recommendations.

I was looking at polymail but I see reports of 'down time' which gives me pause.

I don't use the cloud at all, so am looking for something non-net based.

Thoughts? Things to avoid?

Airmail is by far my favorite. I''ve tried every third party email app and it'/ consistently been by favorite of the last four years. Cloudmagic is also well received, started on mobile and only recentlycame to desktop.

I've been using Postbox on the Mac for the past few years. They just release version 5. I've been pretty happy with it. Lots of powerful filtering available and it deals with my somewhat crazy selection of incoming email account pretty well.
