Amy -- That seems like a Tech thread question.

We have a lot of editors in here, so I thought this would be easier and quicker, Jon.

That makes sense to me.
Amy, I just opened a new Word doc and tested it - my changes show up fine. I didn't immediately see anything in a Settings section that looked like it would change the rev marks.
I know I have Track Changes on, though -- I added a comment already, and it's there on the side
comments and track changes are different--you can add comments even without track changes on, so double check you have it on?
I just did that too, Amy. For some reason, I had to click Tools/Track Changes twice before the tracking toolbar showed up.
Let me check again. Thanks, people!
Apparently I am being productive.
Still being stubborn about updating my Word version. I just convert all those docx things I get. I dislike learning new menu systems.
Love the title.

If you can avoid it, don't update. The new version is total irritating ass. I have a 3rd party add-on that has the old menus and that helps somewhat but there are some things you used to be able to do that just aren't available any more and everything else takes much longer to do. It is absolutely infuriating.
I am being productive (though on school stuff rather than Diablo Sound stuff). I'm happy about the thread, though, since I've been married to small business and done the books/tax planning almost my whole adult life.
Ooh, business thread! I am so absolutely definitely going to get my training business off the ground before 2025. Maybe 2050 is a bit more realistic. I do actually have bits of work here and there, which is nice.
