Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

He missed passing the 3rd state test (writing) by one point on this weird scale. He passed each separate element, but the writing is not cohesive so the overall grade was like a 25/100. When the overall grade gets mushed up (that's the technical term) with the individual pieces grades, they get a "scale grade". For writing, passing is 2100 on the scale and he had 2099!!!! They decided not to hold him back, but he may be in tutoring for most of the next 2 years for writing.

The status is NOT quo.

They decided not to hold him back, but he may be in tutoring for most of the next 2 years for writing.

The one point sucks, but it may be a blessing in disguise. Having the extra tutoring at his age will make a huge difference for him in high school.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Yay Mac!

I also like Jesse calling out the guys go wear super super long shorts (but those aren't capris!)

A few years back at the Prudential Center I saw a group of teen boys walking by, one of them in oversized shorts that were effectively culottes, and barely restrained myself busting out laughing. While guys can rock the kilt look, split skirts are an entirely different matter.

What Pix said. That's the sorta intervention stuff my mom did in the past few years.

She's officially retiring this summer! I tease her that it means she'll still be doing most of the same stuff, but not get paid (she works at the school in their neighborhood, can't imagine she won't work as a volunteer.)

msbelle, next time you come out east, you HAVE to meet my neighbors. You'd love 'em. Really, I could just call them my friends, but neighbors distinguishes them from my other friends. Now if I could just unite north and south....that may be my goal for the summer. Throw a to-do to get them together. Even the ones who didn't have good first impressions (and I totally see how that could happen in those cases, but really, they need to get beyond that. Don't need to be bestest friends or anything. Just realize they aren't so bad.)

Um, who am I?

Storming here madly.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.
