I had a cat with seasonal allergies than made her skin get crusty and itchy and it only took a cortisone shot a year to deal with it.

That's good to know. Clio's 9, and this is the first time she's had anything like this before. She's frequently at her feet, but not excessively, and she's scratching her ears quite a bit, so I'm thinking it might be mites. Her ears look clean, but I don't know...

Eastern Coyotes around here are rumoured to be interbred with wolves. Coyotes attacked and killed a solo hiker in a NS national park 1-2 years ago, and this hybrid was rumoured to be behind their aggression. Everyone has been bananas about coyote sightings ever since.
