You know me! I'm like, "Go school! It's your birthday!" Or something to that effect.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And there's also a cultural, apparently, aversion to oral sex. So you can't say anything that alludes to that...like, say, "eat."

First thing that comes to mind is "masticate", and I bet they aren't saying that either...

And must say: yes, shrift, you won by just showing up, much less completing the thing. Kudos!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Pucci - what could I do?

True. It was beyond your powers.

The severe homophobia is weird.

Totally this. Go, shrift!

Was it this thread where I posted my good intentions? Because I totally bailed on them. But to honor promises to my students, which is infinitely more important than an organized closet, so yay.

I got to return his guitar to a student whose brother just died, and even in the midst of his grief see his brilliant smile. I would work for years just to see that smile.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The severe homophobia is weird.

I think I shall take to calling it homophonophobia.

Good on you, Liese, for giving your students reasons to smile.

I have been watching craigslist for a playhouse for K, since we never got her a real birthday gift. It amazes me that people think they can get away with trying to make potential buyers believe a lie about what these things cost new. As in, someone has an ad for one that new is $229, and they're saying it costs $500 new. I have an Internet, and I know how to use it.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Being lazy at the moment. Soon I will shower, dress and pack for the con.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, skimming. At first I thought this post was by Suzi, and though, "Playhouse? ....huh." OH! Hee.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At first I thought this post was by Suzi, and though, "Playhouse? ....huh." OH! Hee.

Reading your quotation I suddenly thought you were quoting Kat, and bzuh?

This weekend I really need to get my car washed. Like, a lot. And I have to do laundry. Like a lot. This is not different from previous weekends. Let's see how it goes.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

HR peeps., what's the current feeling on functional resumes? Are they trendy/smiled on in higher circles?

Or do people despise them?
