"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm pretty sure there's no rule against it...

Love!

I have cleaned and sanitized the sickroom. It smells like bleach, but so far I have not actually gotten The Strep and therefore I feel I am winning. Another one of the dorm parents came down with it. So I am big with the hand washing.

Okay. I have to eat lunch, put away laundry (shocker), clean the master bedroom and bathroom, sort the benevolence groceries and get on my way by 3:00. I can do that. Right? I already worked on financials and email marketing stuff, and laundered a bunch of linens.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, they're doing a presentation on a big software change that's totally intersecting with the meeting I had just before this one. I just don't know if anyone knows other than me. And I don't know if anyone wants to know. File under questions ita doesn't want to ask.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can do that. Right?

Right!!!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That tie is cool! I wonder how heavy it is.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Man, that GSD bitch is gorgeous.

But I got me a dog, don't need another. Although my sister texted me yesterday that she's "got a line on a puppy", which I think means a StB bitch. I really wish she would switch back to Goldens--at least you can take them running.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

We're all puppy enamored at the moment, since we saw that pup that looked just like Seabiscuit at the Kansas Humane Society page. But she was gone from there before we could get her, so now we're all looking around. But realistically we can't adopt until after the summer anyway, and I don't think it's a great idea with all our travel. Wrangling one 60 pound dog across country is enough work as it is!

Also! People should warn before they post Sephora links on days I'm supposed to be getting shit done! And along that rabbit trail, OPI doesn't sell online direct, do they? My Kmart apparently sent back the last of their OPI stock, much to my dismay. They should have sold it to me at a huge markdown! Just when I had decided I needed pinks, too. So now I don't have an OPI source. I'm sure I'll be near something this summer, but I doubt I'll have time to shop.

I'm sorry!

Pucci - what could I do?

hip deep in pie

I am constantly wrangling with desire for a pup vs. tackling the responsibility for a pup. I am always watching the rescue sites. I can't quite commit.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So the Nissan Leaf (a new electric car) can be charged by towing it while someone in the Leaf rides the brakes (due to regenerative braking).
