We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Stay safe, everyone!

Which makes my weather-related dilemma very petty. But then this is Buffistas, where no question is too petty to share.

To wit: I forgot my umbrella (actually I left it home on purpose because the radio said it was going to rain the North Bay, bah), and now it's raining, and I want my lunch.

Do I brave the rain, or just settle for the crappy food in the 5th-floor canteen?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Can you borrow an umbrella from someone not going out.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I'm on the phone with my sis, but I'll text Erin when I get off.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

No answer from my parents and my mom doesn't have her damn cell phone on. Typical. Their zip code is listed as a power outage area so that may have affected the phone lines too. Text message sent to my brother. We'll see if he responds.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Hey, guys, just spent the last 2 hours with 1000 kids in a basement. Things are ok, with me, but I couldn't check in -- herding kiddos.

I'm freaked like a freaked things -- adrenaline overload.

Sedlaia got hit; lots of action -- not really clear right now, still in classroom.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Do you at least get a free paid (half) day off?

Nope. Still at work and will be a bit more. A full day for sure. My outfit, however, totally rocks.

I just heard a report out of Columbia, MO in the veterinary teaching hospital. All people and animals are taking shelter in the basement. Apparently they can see into a surgical room where a cow is being operated on.

Coding and Sleeping

We got sirens and some heavy rain here, but that was about it.
