Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, I remembered what I wanted to ask:

Any word on ita? She hasn't been around, probably for perfectly logical reasons, since she's in a hospital, but I am a little concerned.

God, I am such a worrywart this week.

And to bed now.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

She was in Movies today.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

She was in...some other thread and said she was okay. Got home from the hospital and slept a lot.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Well, I made an assumption, that turned out to be wrong, and he made an assumption based on stuff other people said/did, and we clarified things, and I guess we're back on good terms now, but damn.

And now he's suggested, instead of doing That, why don't you do This? Well, I don't want to. But now I kind of have to, don't I? Or my initial offer will appear insincere.

Fuck. Sometimes I regret ever speaking to anyone.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It's perfectly acceptable to have offered something and for that to be the extent of the offer.

And sheesh, Kat, scary stuff about your dad. It's a bad night for dads apparently. The SO's dad is back in the hospital having super high blood pressure. They've got him stabilized, but still scary. And my sis was under the same storms as msbelle and dj, but it seems like they're okay so far too.

And my student's brother just died. No details yet on how, but he was a young man, so there's no reason that will be a good reason. Lots of my kids knew him, so there's a bunch of mourning right now.

Stressful night.

And because I can't say it on facebook since it's going nuts right now, NHL: GOING TO OVERTIME ELIMINATION GAME WHOO!

~ma for all the dads, and all the people still facing storms! Scary. My sister's heart condition is relatively minor and easily controlled, and it scares the fuck out of me anyway.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

My mom's pretty sad that it wiped away her childhood home. But it's just nostalgia for her as opposed to a primary shelter of whoever owned it now.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, that's sad nonetheless, Theresa.

NHL: Really, San Jose? You have the goalie without a stick in the last few minutes of the first OT and you don't manage to get a shot off?
