Huh. Seems like I timed my return drive from AR very well. I drove past Joplin about 4 p.m. As I was passing Carthage the radio started warning about storms with hail and rotation SW of Pittsburg KS, heading East.

Yes, I had to peek; it's really awful. I think I will start a donation thing at my school tomorrow -- one of my students had to drive his grandma to see his great-grandma to Joplin Friday; he can't be the only one with family affected there.
