Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

So does Vanilla sex count as vanilla sex?

Thrive to spite them

From the same newspaper that brought you the rollercoaster/lady marriage: [link]

I watched programs about BOTH of those people on BBCAmerica. I don't remember the name of the program but it's a series of specials looking at people's sexuality and things. They also did one on Real Dolls.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cool X-Ladies 80s T shirts.

Because books.

For a last-minute treat before the world ends (or to pack for the trip to Paradise, I guess), Tollhouse muffins. They taste exactly like the cookies, just bigger and softer. Not too sweet, either.

Add the milk with the wet ingredients -- that step is missing.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Does anyone else have an apocalypse music playlist? If so, what's on yours? Probably the most obscure song on mine is [link] .

Please to not be laughing at my harvest gold wall oven

Bev, we have been living with my MIL for 4 years, and that is her exact oven except that her's is coppertone. It just last week started acting up. It's easily 35+ years old. The matching cooktop has one non-working burner but other than that works fine.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Does anyone else have an apocalypse music playlist?

I do not have one, but if I did, this would be on it, obvs.

Um, hello, one true apocalypse song is 1999, end of story.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I don't either (and I can't access YouTube here at work), but REM's "It's the End of the World As We Know It" is a given, isn't it?

Thanks for the muffin recipe!! I sent it onto my sister, who is famous for her excellent Toll House cookies. And then I stuck around that website and found a recipe for crustless mini quiches that I simply must make! It'll make for a nice change for breakfast from my usual greek yogurt.
