Sue, what is his heart rate if he is tachycardic? Are they thinking meds over something mechanical?
I don't really know Kat. I think his heart rate is normal-sih most of the time. Right now he is in ICU, but they have unhooked him from the defibrillator. (But it's nearby.) They are planning to install a pacemaker/defibrillator to respond to future episodes.
Oh dear, this is not shaping up to be a good morning, is it?
ita I am so sorry about the pain. Sending you love, but wish I could do more for you.
I have a long day ahead of me since I have a dinner function I have to go to on campus tonight and won't get home until 9 or so. But I am looking forward to the dinner, so I don't want to sound churlish. I'm just worried about how to keep my energies up for an 11-12 hour day on campus.
On the upside, a work thing that was shaping up to be a total clusterfuck when I left yesterday is now basically taken care of. It really is better to be lucky than good (although I am also good).
I just misread this headline:
Uganda presidential spokesman: Libya's Moammar Gadhafi would be welcome to live in asylum in Uganda - AP
And thought "Wow, that's catty." Then I realized Uganda was offering asylum. Not offering to put Gadhafi in an asylum.
Time for more coffee.
Oh dear Jessica. That transition back to work is a bear.
Is anyone here watching parenthood? Cause last night nearly killed me.
So my dad does need the pacemaker/defibrillator, so will be coming up here tomorrow or Thursday, depending on when a bed is open.
Oh Sue, that's rough. Lots of ~ma for your father, mother and for you. Is there anything I can do to help?
Is there anything I can do to help?
Thanks Ouise, but I think we're okay. My sister will be coming up, so she can drive us around (with her driving that's a mixed blessing.) And I have tonnes of time if I need to take some off.
