Coding and Sleeping

but don't get a house too close to the stadium or the b-ball arena if you move there -- parking is a BITCH when games happen.

Good advice. It's my #4 choice at the moment because of location. The interviews for #2 and #1 are coming up and #3 was today. I got a rejection for #5, but they said they interview went well and that it wasn't a good skill set match so they are applying me for a different job there.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

For those who were wondering, the Louisiana food truck food was pretty awesome. I still have read beans and rice to eat for/with dinner too.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Completely random question - do any librarian or university Buffistas have access to PubMed? Is it all wonky and funky for anyone else, or is it just my crappy computer here?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I just received spam with the subject line "Stella". I'm rather disappointed it wasn't in all caps with interrobangs.

hip deep in pie

Today a friend brought me two grapevines she dug up from her garden. Then the ladies auxiliary of the children's hospital across from where I work had a plant sale. There I bought a red currant plant, two poppies, an iris, an anemone, and some forget me nots. I planted one grape, the iris and one of the poppies, but I have to find space for the rest. I think I have to move some plants and my compost heap to put the other grapevine where I want it. I am excited for grapes, and to cover my chain link fence.

I just ran a few searches, JZ, and it seemed fine to me.

Sigh. It's my crappy computer, then. I'm also developing a big bad hate-on for PubMed even when I can coax the computer into connecting to it. Why can I run a bunch of different by journal name, article title and author and come up with nothing, then go through an external source and get dropped right into the citation I was looking for?

A shrimp po boy. I came back to an OMG DO THIS NOWNOWNOW request, so I had to wolf it down in about 2 minutes flat, but it was still darn tasty.
