Anxious making changes at my work. My primary concern (knowing that I will have a job) is that I get to keep my office. I've gotten so used to it! Going back to a cube will make me cry.

Jesse, I can't really call on anyone for help so I am just doing what I can. I called and cancelled a job that we have no materials for - tentatively rescheduled it. Now I am looking at all the material I could locate in the warehouse to see what, if any, jobs I can move up. Before I do that, I should call the installers and see what's what.
Ack. My manager wants to meet with me this morning. Don't know why.

He wants some tips on Stargate fanfic.
I'm in the office today and am once again reminded why I prefer to work from home. There are a bunch of people in a conference room, yammering with the doors open. Hush, people, hush.
If only I didn't have a lunch meeting. And conference calls all afternoon. Stab, stab, stabbity, stab.
The cousin who was supposed to house/dog sit for the ten days I'm in Morocco just flaked.
I am trying to not freak very very hard. I leave in less than a week. My house is a pit. I am not packed. There are a million things to do including purchase a camera and make my hair non-blue AND NOW I HAVE TO DROP EVERYTHING AND FIND SOMEONE TO WATCH THE DOG.
Trudy, can you google for a pet-sitting service with bonded/recommended employees?
Check to see if any of the folks at your vet petsit? A couple of the techs at mine do and they are my back ups if my regular pet sitters are unavailable.
Trudy, I posted on facebook.
