Dawn just made me want a grilled cheese sandwich. I am home sick with sick Casper, who is watching the excellent Peter Pan with Jason Isaacs. We both have colds; we're not that sick, really. But I would have gotten more rest being sick by myself.

Sorry! I am blowing off the conf call, and heading to get grilled cheese (with bacon and tater tots) right now!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I need to go shopping for home and for something to give out to the VBS volunteers. They want it to be some cheestastic punny tie in gift thing - the theme is food related and so some suggestions were boxes of ziploc bags that we put notes on that say - "teaching vbs is your bag" or a pack of blank recipe cards with a note " you've got the ingredients of a great leader"

I think I hurt feelings yesterday when I said I though that was cheesy and couldn't we just have donuts, coffee, and some fruit.

This weekend?

Tonight: laundry & a long dog-walk, unless I get email from one of my climbing pals to do that (which would necessarily be followed by dinner & beer).

Tomorrow: sit with my mother in the AM, then probably more laundry. And I have to read the book for book club this weekend (The Member of the Wedding), so that's probably tomorrow. Maybe a run.

Sunday: run, then climbing, then I have a party in the city to go to.

Oooh, I want a grilled-cheese food truck! Really I just want to go back to my college cafeteria where they made amazing grilled cheese.

ou know, that was on a CSI:NY a few weeks ago ... needless to say, it did not end well

Tornados? Food trucks? Rapture?

This weekend: Not sure about tonight--possibly the premiere of the trans film fest and afterparty. Possibly dancing. Tomorrow, work out with trainer, maybe get around to planting some plants, really ought to clean the house as my bathroom counter looks like something out of Hoarders (no really), and then Sunday, lunch date, movie with friends, possibly dinner with friends, and participate in "Pride Idol"!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I was wondering the same thing!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

grilled cheese (with bacon and tater tots)

Ooh, that's practically a perfect meal. I can't complain, though, I just had vast quantities of shu mai for lunch

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, I have such love for The Member of the Wedding. I haven't read it in forever, because I'm afraid of how it, or I, might have aged. But it looms so large in my personal history. (And I still use the lines "Good riddance to a big old bag of rubbage," and "They are the we of me" all the time; in my head, anyway. NSM out loud.)

I also want a grilled cheese sandwich. And Peter Pan with Jason Isaacs. Probably not with flea and Casper, though, because it hits too many crypoints for me (the movie, not grilled cheese) and I'm afraid I would end up scarring poor Casper for life.

Caasper think it's cute that I cry like crazy when Mrs. Darling sleeps with the window open. She thinks the boy who plays Peter is cuuuuute and had me look him up on IMDB.

My college cafe made the best grilled cheese, on white bread with white american cheese and a tomato. All I have at home is dark wheat and Kroger cheddar.
