I'm just waiting to see if I pass out. Long story.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had a cat who would use her claws to move any free hand to the top of her head, her theory being that any hand not in use should be scratching her head.

This is how I get woken up a lot. Clearly, sleeping hands can be put to better use.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I was just Very Polite to customer service on the phone. Probably because the guy wasn't customer service, my call just rolled over. Their site won't let me order with my Groupon and pay nothing possibly because the total amount is slightly under the Groupon amount. Whatever. I calculated before I did the Groupon and was willing to lose the $1.05. You have my order, my Groupon number and my address, send me grippy half-toe yoga socks. I am very zen about it. Probably because I forgot to order them for three weeks. So if this adds another day? Whatever. Green. Half-toed. Grippy. Socks. Want them.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Cat Opening a Box

That cat's yowl would get old fast.

I'm still confused about the sinus headache thing because I've had sinus headaches all my life, but never thought of myself as having migraines. Now I need to go do research.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sinus migraines and headaches.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay Kathy!

I don't remember how I found TT. Probably bored at work and following some link somewhere. (This was my previous job. I don't do that at work anymore.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It's not a leap to think of my most recent sinus headache as a migraine. My whole face hurt.

Your spine keeps a record of all your body’s pain This has me wondering if sensations are recorded differently depending on which sense is involved (bright lights, loud sounds, smashed fingers). And since I saw this link referenced with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind I'm wondering how emotional pain relates.

Because books.

I was never on TT or World Crossing. I found this board through Cash and Cindy, because they mentioned it on the Bronze: Beta. Allyson, too, actually.

Heh. I saw that one in my searching, ita, along with several others. My quick read is that most of my not!sinus headaches are tension, not migraine.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I don't remember how I found TT, but I know I was working for KU and spent HOURS on there at work, since I could do tons of work and still have lots of time left over for chatting. I think it was season 3, but I'd been watching since S1.

We would still have watch and posts, and my desktop was in another room, do during commercials, I would run into the other room and type furiously for five minutes, then run back to the living room.

Ah, the good old days...

Kathy, you look awesome! It seems like you just had the surgery yesterday -- I can't believe you're over halfway to goal! Go, you!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So, the folks who read my interview/article yesterday? The other party has made a concession that will make my life immeasureably easier.

I may get this project done before I die, after all.

But I don't wanna do no more interviews.
