Unrelatedly, I'm editing something on genetics that uses the word "mendelian" (as in Gregor Mendel). The AMA style guide says it should be lower-case, but then goes on to say that editors should defer to -- specifically -- "the latest edition of Merriam-Webster."

You know, I don't think I knew that specifically. Which means sometimes I waste time trying to figure out which kind of headache is making me want to weep.
Sudafed (real, red) is getting me through Spring. It's not pretty, but I haven't bruised my head trying to rub the pain out when I take it.

Management co is pretty decent. I haven't had to interface with them much, which is nice. And they haven't raised my rent recently. So, good.
