We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Because books.

One of S.'s best friend was so eager for me to meet the girl he eventually married -- "She's just like you!" (Not looks, I should clarify -- he only meant personality apparently.) I HATED her. She was nothing like me at all, and S. agrees. Makes me wonder what lens his friend (who was mine, too -- I've known him since high school) was viewing me through.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Bummer, Dana. That's definitely irksome.

I may have mentioned before that my great-grandfather's wives (my great-grandmother was his second, after he was widowed) were both named Emma. As was his mother. But I don't know if any one them looked like each other.

Leafing through the mental rolodex of lovers, I can safely say none looked even remotely like a) any family member or b) each other.

There WERE, however, some major similarities. Interesting/important jobs, eccentricity over all, many Jews.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's annoying, Dana. I hope the weather becomes sunny and dry for your area until you can get it fixed.

My few boyfriends didn't have much in common appearance-wise. But they did have deep voices. It's kind of a thing for me.

My grandfather married his late wife's brother's widow. So while my aunt became my step-grandmother, there wasn't any actual genetic connection.

It's a thing for me too, but I never seem to attract them! Whah.

I get the fey intellectuals with higher pitched voices.

Some great forearms though. That's 'a thing' for sure.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I had a type in school, baby-faced blue eyed curly blond haired little cherubs full of mischief. All of whom have, according to facebook, aged really badly. But the type that liked me, lean mysterious sneering dark-haired types all grew up into stunners.

My friend`s parents were brothers married to sisters, who then divorced and married the other sibling. So his uncle is his stepfather and his dad is his stepuncle. And they all get together at family gatherings and have, according to all sources, a nice time.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Whoa, Liese.

I have no discernable type. DH is big, burly and Jewish. Ex was tall but slim and Waspy. Other great love was skinny, short and ethnic. They are all wicked smart and made me laugh.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I've only been involved with 2 guys less than 6 feet tall.

I've only been involved with three women less than 6 feet tall. Of course, I've only been involved with three women.

My spectrum? 4'10"-6'5", everything in between.
