Yep. Those are two of the things that drive me a little stir crazy when I'm working on ships too. Happy early birthday. I celebrated mine last year while out on the NCL Jewel.

What do you do on NCL, NoiseDesign?? I feel horrible even complaining in the slighest because I work on a ship and am seeing such amazing places and the only work I've done all day is play Pictionary with some passengers, but yeah, ever so slightly stir crazy.

It's eerie when the ship is empty. But I wandered around a lot and hung out chatting with the cute new boy at the Pursers desk for a while, so it has been a pretty nice day!

Most of my cruise work has been for Nickelodeon as a technical director for their shows and charters so I've been on RCCL and NCL. I was also the sound designer for Toy Story on the Disney Wonder. I'll be out on the NCL Epic for two weeks this summer in the Mediterranean.

And I seem to be developing a sniffle and sore throat. Hopefully I can head it off with the prompt application of zinc throat lozenges. They make Everything Taste Funny, but they really do seem to short-circuit some of the worst cold symptoms.

I really don't want to call in sick in my third week on the job!
