I had a classic moment today. We have an accreditation committee visiting this week (hello, March! Thanks for bringing in All the Stress!). I left my class with my co-teacher (yes, I have a co-teacher since over 20% of my class is special ed) and I went to the bathroom.
THAT'S when the accreditation guys came to observe. Nice, yes?

It seems a bit nuts in a way. I can leave my students alone for 10 or 15 minutes if I need to. And some of them are only a year older than yours are.

Burrell, some of them are the EXACT SAME AGE even (I have a large group of 6th and 7th year seniors. No joke.)
But yeah. I came in and just continued where I left off. I started them, went to the bathroom and saw the accreditation guy on his way in, then walked back, threw my keys on my desk and just taught.
Oh well.
You gotta pee. What are you gonna do?
I am feeling a little spent right now. Sort of strung out on stress and work.
