Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, I will say that I lost out on the amount they would pay for shipping by doing too many at once, I think. Which may or may not matter to you, and may or may not have changed in the years since I sold them stuff.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

and search for Hair Model. You can often get free color too.

I totally hair modeled in high school (maybe started in junior high). Just for color. It was awesome. New week, new color. It was nifty.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I just read The Poisoner's Handbook , which I highly recommend, and I now know so much about the horrors of the alcohol that brought about the creation of Prohibition-era cocktails that at the moment a gimlet does not appeal.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hair modelled once. It was WTFery consummate. And silly, because I couldn't do the upkeep required to make the style look like they hairdresser wanted. Worst black woman ever. But for ten minutes every few weeks I looked amazing! And then I went back to low rent Tina Turner.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Cosmetology school was one long experiment in hair modeling for me. I had fantastic burgundy/blood wine hair for a while, and any time there was a concert to go to, my hair and makeup became the class project.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Coding and Sleeping

Today has been quite a day job search wise. I had a phone interview with a HR person this morning at a place I'd really like to work. She said she was going to show around my info to the development teams so we'll see there.

But I got four more interviews set up today. One with an HR person via phone, but the others are don't appear to be screenings.

Another phone screening got added while I was writing this post.

Ok, yall made me go look at Seattle craigslist, and while I didn't see any hair modeling things, I did find the following ad, with the best title: "Possible Chance to Meet a Robot!"
