I heard the same thing here, with a promo saying "Concern rises as radiation spreads farther than expected." Detectable isotopes are expected to spread over most of the world. Tiny, tiny amounts, but detectable. It's like Jayne's "Ten percent of nothing is — let me do the math here. Nothing into nothin'. Carry the nothin'..."
Yeah, it just feels to me like, how you say? Not news.
How much do I love that Ginger can not only keep us informed about the radiation (non-)threat, but use Firefly quotes to do it?
SO VERY MUCH!
We're "at time," people. Please end the meeting. I have another one.
Did you tell them you have a hard stop??
I have/had a guy on my friend list (I will probably delete him now) who seems to have read that WSJ Gandhi book review because this is his status.
Reading about Gandhi and what a dick! Racist, hate-monger who thought he was above others. I wish he was still alive so I could punch him in the mouth.
I was going to ignore it, but I don't think I can. When we went to Gandhi's house in Mumbai it was...I don't know, transformative. It feels really cliche saying that, but just the excerpts posted on the walls in hindi and english got me choked up, and then seeing his room with the simple bed, loom and sandals was incredible.
I had to call the dude an asshole, and be done.
I like this one, using the Euro sign:
:€
Time to stop visioning and solutioning, people! Hard stop! Hard stop!
Had 1:1 with new boss's boss. I think that went well.
It only took him an hour to ask where I was from.
