It is so hard some days to ignore and disengage. Woman in my office is so smart and capable in so many ways, but you can not talk about any world events without being hit with the crazy. Will & Kate married on same day as Hitler, Bin Laden killed on same day as Hitler, except of course he wasn't, because he has been dead for years. And of course we are all fools to think he was the mastermind of 9/11 anyway. She has proof. She has researched this stuff. Not that it matters because we are all going to be dead from sun stuff. Which our government is hiding from us to avoid panic. sobs gently while hitting head on desk Seriously, she is the best employee ever except for the ability to find the most ridiculous claims ever and embrace them.

This is why we really need to teach critical thinking better in schools.
Despite the best efforts of our armed forces, some people still live in impenetrable compounds. Of stupidity.
Awesome. I just might tag.

Of course she also is homeschooling because she can't have her child brainwashed by the system. And she wouldn't give the kid immunizations either.
And in her actual work here, brilliant. Smart as can be. And quick. Boggles.
Well, there's different types of intelligence.
A lot of very smart people seem to have no common sense. Like the MENSA teenager who killed someone (you know, perfect crime and all that) and then bragged about it to his friends.
So, Nora, smonster, I am coming to NO for a conference in late June! smonster, you will be there by then, RIGHT?
(Also, we bought the Dublin plane tickets. It is a day of travel planning.)
Isn't there a Fenway stop on the green line? I'd think that would be a lot closer to Fenway Park than the Hynes stop. (And maybe closer than the Kenmore stop, though I'm not as sure of that.)
Kenmore is definitely closer to Landsdowne street than Hynes or Fenway (thought Fenway is closer than Hynes). Also, Kenmore is on three out of the four Green lines (anything but E: Heath Street); Fenway is on one specific one (D).
flea, yes!! And whee!!! And double whee on the Dublin tickets!
Also, we bought the Dublin plane tickets.
Awesome! I hope you have a wonderful time.
Ooh, flea, when are you going? I'm also headed to Dublin soon, over Memorial Day weekend, to meet up with M while he's over there doing research for a month.
