Art Crawl!!!

I was thinking that any kid of Wills and Kate might have a decent chance of non-baldness because Kate's dad seems to have quite a healthy head of hair.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OMG, week, end.

On a good note, my boss chose my March project to present to his boss as an example of process done right. And he gave me a high five for the stranglehold I've maintained on the rollout that's scheduled for this weekend.

I still wish I wasn't going to have to be working in the wee hours this weekend, but there you go.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

High-five, ita! The week is almost over, except for you, apparently.....

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Old Black ladies in church on Easter Sunday would look at these hats and think, "Those white ladies are wearing some crazy hats!"

This is pretty much exactly what I thought. With admiration.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

High-five!

I have an amazing headache and I am supposed to attend a surprise birthday dinner tonight. Good GOD, I don't want to. I really need to find something to wear, shower and convince myself to go.

Actually I am going to take a Sudafed, more Advil and take a hot shower. If I don't feel at least a little better, I am canceling. That'll ease it a little if it is either sinus or tension. If this is a migraine, just no. It hurts bad enough that I cannot even tell why. It just hurts.

Man, I cried my way home from work. I'm so glad to be done, you don't even know. Meds, please kick in a little.

My boss and his boss also complimented my shoes. They're cowboy boots, so I guess guys can do that and not break rules? Because we need rules. Clear, gender-defined rules.

Hot shower with my eyes closed and I felt a little better. Out now (and with my glasses on) and I feel so amazingly queasy and the pain is just ramping straight back up. I'm a bad friend but I just can't.

I'm so glad to be done, you don't even know.

I can guess right about now. Unfortunately.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I am going to stop at the gym on the way home and do some bouldering, and then it's an evening of tv: FNL and Fringe, woot. And maybe some writing.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The steroid munchies led me straight to a big cheeseburger (which feels less big since I can't eat the bun) and a red velvet cupcake from the GF bakery across the river. And now I'm watching the CBS special on the wedding. (Tim is out helping a buddy run some wiring, or some electrical something. So I'm living on the edge while he's gone. Oh, yeah.)

Art Crawl!!!

Watching the Wedding coverage now: I have to say that Beatrice's dress does look like a pinky beige on my tv.
