Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Tonight is the first night of Guys and Dolls, which CJ is in. He is trying to get his homework done before call time. I know of at least 5 girls (ages ranging from 6 - 14) who are going tonight JUST cause he is in it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Allyson, could it be gallstones? I know my mother had symptoms like that for a long time before they figured out that's what it was.

My poor father called me worried about his cell phone dying. It just needs to be charged, but I couldn't walk him through finding and plugging in the charger over the phone, because I have no idea where it would be! Sad. If it were an actual emergency, of course I could get over there, but I'm pretty sure my mother will be home later and they can figure it out together....

Also, I just went out for an overpriced burger, and now I'm super full. That was kind of a mistake. I think I like the other place where a smaller portion is the same price, which is less of a value, except if I value not feeling so full!

Our wings are not tired.

Jesse, next time don't go to the Globe to Bukowski's!

(I write, not having any idea where you actually dined!)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I went to the new 5 Napkin Burger! What's random is they have also opened one (of like 5 or 6) around the corner from where I used to live in Queens.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

And now that I stop to think about it, I wouldn't use "hussy" to describe a man. Huh.

Maybe we should. If men are embracing being called a "man-slut", maybe they should be called a "man-hussy". I suspect they wouldn't embrace the term quite so much.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Batman's cowl is all one piece? His mask and cape are connected?

My uncle is coming to visit in late July! He's going to a motorcycle rally in the Catskills, then going to wind his way down to the Carolinas, hitting various nieces and nephews on the way, then back to Colorado. He'll be the first of my family other than parents to see the new place. I'm plotting us so many adventures!

And I probably should put the ac in that bedroom for his visit. He IS motorcycling almost the whole US this summer, but he's also 70+.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Batman's cowl is all one piece? His mask and cape are connected?

Aren't they? I thought they were. I am far from the Batman expert, though.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That seems impractical.
