So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My current favorite coat is a Ben Sherman. It's all swoopy and retro and delicious.

I don't think I could pay $17.99/lb for cheese unless it was going to give me an orgasm or something. But it sounds good.

This is why I like going when samples are out.

Also, when stores have the teeny little pieces that are a buck or so, so it's like getting a candy bar, only made of really good cheese.

Because books.

I get weird about spending when it's something I'm going to eat. It's going to be gone in a minute! But I agree ... cheese.

I do spend a stupid amount of money on food. I tend to spend a lot of money on experiences/in the moment type things, I hate *stuff*.

Because books.

I think that's a good practice, though. I could definitely do with less stuff.

Unless you're talking about books or earrings.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I try and let my grocery shopping budget be the loosest of all my budgets. Because...food! This works better when I cook and don't order out, however.

I was so suckered in by the samples I didn't check the price of the cheese. It wasn't until I got home that I thought "Ooh, big number."

Mmm. Cheese. Another thing I wish I knew more about.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was so suckered in by the samples I didn't check the price of the cheese.

That's how the fancy cheeses always get me. But then they are delicious, so it's not so bad.

I have fig spread. And not so fancy cheese. But those are not things that need eating up before they go bad, alas.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I forget who told me about it, but using wax paper as a cover in the microwave has all the convenience of plastic wrap, and none of the downside, like melting or tightening up, plus it's slightly enough water permeable that the excess steam escapes. Connie-Bob says give it a try.

I bought a thing for the microwave. So I wouldn't be using a reusable material. A lid. A lid with holes.
