So it's a certain little boy's birthday today. He spent almost an hour last night crying, mourning that he'd never be 5 years old again. I mean, he was truly heartbroken. I promised him he could be 5 as long as he liked. So as I tucked him in, I asked him how old he'd be in the morning. "5?" I asked. "I think I want to be 6," he answered.
smonster, I am working on resume now.
I'll hit you up with any questions, send it to you for a look-see when I'm done.

Heh.
When I was about ten, I'd fantasize about staying ten the rest of my life. I'd imagine pressing on the sides of my skull to keep it from growing.
I had the same wish, tommyrot. And Franny had a similar moment when she was 4, cried for an hour because she didn't want to grow up. It's hard. And what can you say to that? Oh but being grown up is Fun! It's NOT fun much of the time.

Jesse,
something like that happened to me when I used to be on yahoo games a lot. a woman, pretending to be a man was trying to pick me up. I became suspicious that the person wasn't a man based on a few things she said and when we spoke on the phone, she tried to lower her voice to sound like a man.
It did not work.
Matilda is not keen on growing up either.
Though I take that as a sign that she's pretty happy with where she's at.
