Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I hope they can cure the UTI quickly, sarameg, and get Mr. Kitty back on his feet.

Because books.

Aw, I'm sorry, sara. Sounds like a good thing you took him in.

Kitty-ma for Mister Kitty, sara.

I wish ita's doctors made some sense.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not sure what any of my doctors are for at this point.

I hope the vet gets right on what's up with Mr. Kitty, sara.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Aww, Kathy, you're looking fantastic! I'm so happy for you!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Wow, Kathy, you look great!

Thanks, y'all!!

I just realized that I seem to be having my update photos taken every 55 pounds lost. That's been the distance between these first three sets, and I won't have another set of pics taken until my brother's wedding at the end of August, when I'm hoping to be down about another 55 pounds! (I'm figuring that the weightloss will start slowing down in a month or so, going from 5 pounds/week to 3-4.)

Kathy, awesome!

Thanks for the MK wishes. I know it seems goofy for this ancient of a cat in his condition, but my thing is if it is easily treatable, why not. If I'd been told organ failure or cancer or he'd not get back to normal, it would hurt but I'd head straight to Youth In Asia (as I heard it for so long.) If my old man can stay normal and happy after a day of treatment for timeline unknown, well, fuck my credit card.

Believe me, when today I thought it was a stroke, I was ready to let him go. Only the slight perkiness after sugar and utterly awfulness of MK confused( yeah, I couldn't deal with that) drove me to the vet, where I was expecting the worst.

I came uncomfortably close to letting him to die from something fixable today. Can't think about it too much.
