but if you get a good pain management clinic and treatment, maybe you won't need to go to the ER?

God, ita. Suck suckity sucking suck. Why don't things work the way they ought to? Why won't they prescribe? That's ridiculous.
sarameg, my sister had to take one of her cats to the emergency vet this morning with low blood sugar. She thinks the cat might have had a ministroke. They adjusted the cat's insulin dose. Glad Mr. Kitty's feeling better, hope he continues to recover.
I have no words for ita's clinic.
So while I was at the emergency vet (the one in Towson) it stormed. And I guess though the door was dry to the touch, it wasn't fully cured. I have some bubbly spots where water was streaming down it. Sigh. Well, I had a few places that needed a third coat, so just add these to the list, after I sand it smooth.
It was a busy weekend anyway, but I'm just done with it. And I still have a load of laundry I need to throw in. Oh, and I haven't checked the basement for water.
And my pool was closed.
MK's had mild blood sugar crashes before but never ever as bad as this. Which is why I thought it might be something else, since he wasn't responding to sugar.
I'm probably repeating myself. I just ate for the first time today, have a bit of a sunburn, and really? Today was long.

A mixture of the fucking war on drugs and the fucking racist assumptions that play into the fucking war on some drugs (WOSD). In short anyone with major pain med needs runs into problems due WOSD, but because ita is black she gets even worse treatment than someone who is white would get. ita you are specifically on UCLA network?
Poor you, Sara! I hope Mister Kitty bounces back better than ever.
What the fucking fuck, ita. The pain people are supposed to be against pain, yeah?
I am so tired I might fall over. Luckily now I'm on the couch, but this weekend was a little too much for the introvert I've turned into. (I'm naturally on the border.) Easter church was magnificent, Easter dinner had among its highlights smoke bellowing from the oven for an extended period (the food still needed to be cooked!) and my three-year-old cousin puking a really impressive amount. Luckily, she did it in the kitchen, the one room with no rugs....
That sucks so much, I can't even, ita. I go all the way to NY to see a neurologist I like, but I only need to see him once or twice a year, so it's a totally different situation.
I just want you to find a situation that works for you, so much.
sarameg, I'm so sorry.
I'm spending the end of Easter Sunday with my favorite baby and her family. I'm going to kidnap this baby someday. They won't suspect a thing, except that I keep talking about it.
I am sick as heck, freaking cold moved into my chest and my asthma decided it wants to play too. Yuck.
But I have Spring Sphere Day dinner, courtesy of KCD and his fiance. They invited me over but the idea of taking a shower and getting dressed took all the energy I had (just the idea, not doing any of it). Instead, they sent a plate home with CJ. And it is nom.

I'm sorry, Suzi, I seem to have infected you through teh intertubes. *hack* The doctor refilled my albuterol inhaler; I actually had thought I shouldn't use it, but he said it would help and it does.
ita, it's beyond my understanding how the pain management clinic won't try to help you with the pain you are clearly in.

I hope he feels better. It's hard knowing you are really into bonus time. I use MK as an example for Kittenish - this is how we take our meds and live a long time and are pretty damn happy, see?
Feel better, Suzi.

I called for that refill yesterday. I only fill it every few years so I need a new script every time. Thankfully the clinic just did it. Except today is a holiday so I can't pick it up until tomorrow. Should have planned that bit better.
