Yes, it is Baltimore-centric, but...
I also like Snap Judgment, which just started airing in my market. [link] (Their main site is snapjudgment.org, but is down at the moment.)
'Life of the Party'
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Most of the podcasts I listen to are skeptical/science/tech/parenting or some combination of those. The two I can recommend that are more general-interest are "My History Can Beat Up Your Politics" (most eps take a current American political issue and put it into historical context - I've learned more about US history from this guy than the entirety of my high school education) and "The World's Technology Podcast" which focuses on how people are using technology to solve problems around the world with a special focus on developing nations.
Thank you guys!
I've listened to Selected Shorts in the past, which is short stories. Currently in my rotation are Wait Wait, Pop Culture Happy Hour, A Way With Words, and I'm trying to get into WTF, but there are too many of them! Given the Fresh Air.

Plei! I have friends who have retired greyhounds, and they are great pets. They are basically lazy most of the time, except when they need to RUN. And they run like hell -- it's really impressive. I guess different dogs have different levels of prey drive, because of the three who have met him, only one was going to eat our other friend's Pomeranian. So that's just something to find out before you're in that kind of situation....
Yardwork people....yardwork yardwork. I am sweaty and stinky, but I planted a tree.
Yay tree!
Yay greyhound!
What 't yay'ed about!
I tell you what, I am over rainy weekends!
We are fans of Kevin Pollack's Chat Show. One on one interviews--mostly with comedians and actors. [link] Pollack loves old show business and has lots of respect for his interviewees, and he's also funny as hell.
