The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Note: I have been known to return the item altogether because of the inconvenience of having to return back to the store to get the tag off.

I've done this. Once I walked into an almost totally empty Penneys with a still tagged item, and both the credit card receipt and the store receipt and got so much attitude from the cashier that I asked to see her manager and told her why I was returning it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

EW's list of shows in development for Fall 2011.

SMG & Nestor Carbonel?

Eliza Dukshu and Damon Wayons?

Jennifer Ehle and Julie Benz?

Somebody's been doing their casting by clicking on AU in Archive of Our Own.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I made some beef stew up last night, and tonight, I'll be making some turkey and chorizo chili. I'll have enough food in my fridge for a week!!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha. I was amused last night at how long it took from thread creation to the first post alone! I am the midnight thread creator what creates at midnight.

Anyway, hi! I am here to say that the SO & I have declared that being on vacation and relaxing is better than being at home and working really hard, so we're going to leave working really hard to the people that like it better. That's ok, right?

Today: Petroglyph!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

we're going to leave working really hard to the people that like it better

Wait, who are these people? Can I hire them? For, preferably, no money, because according to this plan, I will be on vacation ALL THE TIME and they like it anyway?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Untitled sports radio show (Bill Martin, Mike Schiff, Eric & Kim Tannenbaum). Inspired by ESPN personality Colin Cowherd’s outspoken sports talk show and stars Eliza Dushku, Danny Comden and Damon Wayans. (comedy).

So, Sports Night 2011?

Work it (Andrew Reich, Ted Cohen). Two out-of-work salesmen realize that it is now a woman’s world and decide that in order to find work and succeed, they are going to have to dress as women to get jobs as pharmaceutical reps. Stars Amaury Nolasco, John Caparulo, Rebecca Mader, Ben Koldyke, Kirstin Eggers (comedy).

So, Busom Buddies 2011?

Wonder Woman (David E. Kelley). A reboot of the superhero tale that’s a serious, non-campy take on the DC Comics character. Stars Adrianne Palicki, Cary Elwes, Elizabeth Hurley (drama).

I worry that they feel the need to call it "serious" and "non-campy"

Dan Goor project (Dan Goor, Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun). A young doctor joins his parents’ medical practice and spends as much time tending to his family as to his patients. Stars Jean Smart, Andrew West, Brad Morris (comedy).

So, Out of Practice, 2011 (the one with Stockard Channing)

Hart of Dixie (Leila Gerstein, Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Len Goldstein): Culture shock awaits a young New York City doctor after she inherits a medical practice in a small Southern town inhabited by an eclectic and eccentric group of characters in this comedic drama. Cast: Rachel Bilson, Jamie King, Wilson Bethel, Cress Williams

so, Doc Hollywood 2011?

Aside from the blatant ripoffs, there are a lot of similarities with these pilots. Like, there are a few pilots that have to do with supernatural police work, or "imaginary" characters in the real word.

Tom Scola - Mar 24, 2011 7:18:17 am PDT #52 of 30001
Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Georgetown (Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage). A sexy soap centered around young people behind the power brokers of Washington DC. Stars Jimmy Wolk, Katie Cassidy, Daisy Betts, Joe Mazzello, Condola Rashad (drama).

Oddly, this is filming on my block in Brooklyn this weekend.

I am absurdly grateful that it's not filming in DC.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apparently it's a woman's world. Pilot season told me so.

New doctor is very nice. So was the lady in the waiting room that complimented my steel toed mary janes.
