brillig

I feel bad about being an observer to the grief and being psyched about the upcoming Royal Wedding. Too bad the actual grief can't be carved up and shared and processed.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm so sorry, Fred.

Bad news keeps coming for Buffistas this month, WTH? Stop now.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Sympathy to all. Was going to bitch about surprise surgery yesterday, but seems like I've had one of the least awful weeks. Gud, yeah April can definitely fuck itself. And Jilli and Fred and ... well year really really sorry.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yeah, I'm going to go with fuck April, especially for jobs and pets.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{Gud}} I am so so sorry.

This is just not a good April.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Cross-post from Bitches:

Thanks. Victor didn't suffer. He never really regained consciousness after the surgery. And if it was FIP, all he had to look forward to was a few days to a week in the hospital, looking forward to our evening visits.

He was lively last night, climbing all over us. His movements were more confident, his irises were looking better. The jaundice in his eyes wasn't getting worse. The vet said his lungs were clearing up -- if they hadn't, I don't think she would have approved the surgery.

I knew there was a chance that he wouldn't make it through the surgery. But it still hurts incredibly.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
