You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Dinosaur comics addresses the game of Monopoly.

I think he's been reading boardgamegeek.

There's a Fine, Fine Line! (unless that one's just me.)

I think that's my favourite from the show. Probably the one that holds up best out of context.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

When I was elementary aged I got in fights at recess. Well, ok, I orchestrated an elaborate system by which I got other kids in fights with each other. There was a lot of running involved. And shifting allegiances.

When I was a little older I wandered around at the playground boundaries composing little emo soliloquies about how no one understood my pain.

So...you were like an evil CIA director?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I really really was. And like an evil CIA director, I never got busted, even though it was all incited by me and my nemesis. Only our underlings had to do time.

Now tagless for your comfort.

A mini-Mark Burnett.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

When I was in the fifth grade and stupid enough to wear a button-down shirt without checking the cafeteria menu that day I could end up in a hail of raisins and peanuts as boys tried to throw them down my shirt from every direction.

The aides told me to ignore it and, no, I could not go to the library.

I loved recess. In fact, I still do. But now all of my recesses are spent at the copy machine.

I read the Krakauer knockdown of Mortensen from an AP listserv (English teachers don't mess when it comes to authorial smackdowns). So interesting and meticulously researched. I think it was the $75,000 JK had donated that was the impetus.

Adding -- GM basically said he couldn't answer the allegations when 60 Minutes called because of the ill-effects of hypoxia. Granted GM has been traveling the world for YEARS at this point but just now, hypoxia is fucking with him? Hmmm...

brillig

So was it eastern or Pacific time that Skynet is supposed to take over? Or did I not notice and the cyborg overlords don't give a damn about Utah? Or they were already in charge and nothing has changed?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Skynet just wakes up today. It doesn't take over for a couple days.
