Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Images of Alexander Hamilton.

I didn't mean I couldn't find any pics of Alexander Hamilton. That's easy. I meant I couldn't find any of him in a Dom/sub relationship with another president. Do you have those?

The playground aide needs to apologise. The kid might be acting up, but is it really worth the risk of excess pee?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Ugh. Hope he's doing OK with it.

He's doing ok with it, I think. It's a rough age because any older and he'd be subject to ridicule. He let it roll. I think the aide was used to dealing with the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. No excuse, though--when you deal with little ones, let them go! What kid wants to leave the fun of the playground to pee?

Completely disgusting picture. Safe for work. No politicians involved.

I was the annoying kid who used to try to get out of recess (what, I was 6 and didn't like the chaos) by multiple trips to the bathroom. But they always let me go, though my teacher got wise to me and started heading me off at the pass.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Heh, Sara, I was just going to say, "It's recess! Who's trying to get out of recess?" But anyway, who cares if a 6 year old gets out of recess?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Our bathrooms at school were outside anyway, so we all used the bathroom during recess.

I cannot believe that they wouldn't let a child inside to use the bathroom.

When I was 8, I was disgusted at how nasty the bathrooms were. So I drew up a petition and got my schoolmates to sign it and I presented it to the principal with hopes he would have more custodial service of the restrooms.

I don't think my petition did very much (at least I don't remember), but it did give me my bona fides as a baby activist.

I spent half my recesses in the library. I'm sure Owen's headed that way. But right now he still loves outside.

Because books.

I don't remember recess. I think we might not have had it because we were a neighborhood school, and we walked home for lunch and then went back to school.

We had two classes, then break, three classes, then lunch, three classes. In most of my schools. Break==recess, right?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Break==recess

On a good day, recess = the lighter parts of Lord of the Flies. On a bad day, well...
