Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Definitely not going to buy one now.

I've coveted those umbrellas, but since I work downtown and take public transportation, I ultimately decided that it would be too easy to cause a hullabaloo.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OMG I have had two meetings in the project I don't understand....no, I LED two meetings in the project I don't understand. The world didn't end, but my head hurts like a bitch, and no one can find my doctor, so I have no pain meds. So I'm shaking with pain and trying to hold it together. This is week 2. This is no fun.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Harvard Magazine does a profile of Andrew Sullivan: World’s Best Blogger?

Leaving aside a qualitative analysis (which I don't think would particularly support this), I consider the lack of comments disqualifying.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Hmph. They misspelled "Ta-Nehisi Coates."

Too right, JZ.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Big storms here. I spent most of the day making decorations for vbs.

And I possibly have found some part time work, should know more in a few days. Starting own business is a non starter, no way would I be able to keep evenings and weekends free.

Now I am making mac cupcakes for his 10th!!!!! Birthday on sat. We start taking the cupcakes to various events tomorrow.

Seriously, JZ.

I'm very cranky about our IT department disabling Disqus; now I can't read his comments section, which is by far the best in the cultural/political blogosphere.

ION, I actually just sat through a deadly boring (and rather uncomfortable) briefing on the repeal of DADT. Thankfully, there was only one stupid question, which the Boss basically said, "No," to.

hip deep in pie

I just emailed my real estate agent to arrange a viewing of a house in my old neighborhood. What, you didn't know I was in the market for a new house? Neither did I! I used to live across the street from this place and wish I could live there.

I'm vaguely ill at the thought of having to sell my house and move again. But at the same time I always thought I would live here for five years (my 4th anniversary was this past March)and move closer to downtown again. But eeeee! I am kind of freaking out at even the prospect of moving.

Here's the house. Note the funky door, the loft nook (perfect for the cats?), the skylights, the tiny yard, the lack of parking!!! [link]

JZ, preach it.
