Have you also looked into being a VA (Virtual Assistant?)

have not looked into VA.
ion, hate this morning. grump and ache and have to be somewhere at 9. today is absofuckinsmurfly a dunkin day.
msbelle,
good grief. where do you live? I'm with Zenkitty. I would pay for that.
I live in the 'burbs of Dallas/Fort Worth. There are three communities all right together up here that are more upper income than the 'hood I live in, I would focus on them. Since I am new to the area, I would need to do a ton more research, but I do not think there is anything right now that just focuses on the errand side of being a general helper. I am going to talk over the general idea with some people today, just to see how they react. Still going to apply for every job lead I can find, though.
I think you would be really great at that, msbelle.
Does anyone here read The Pioneer Woman? How the heck does she get so many things to give away? Is she independantly wealthy?
[link] She makes a ton of money from the web site, I know - she and Dooce are the two big women bloggers who could (Dooce does, and just built a huge new house) live off their web ad incomes.
I love the Pioneer Woman, but Dooce really rubs me the wrong way.
Dooce is nuts. But she makes big bank. Here's an estimate: [link]
The same people estimate Pioneer Woman takes home between 800K and 1.3 mil a year from ads. [link]
So, she can afford to give away Kitchenaids every week.
Wow.
But my hunch is that with her following and promotion skills she probably is getting Kitchenaid and Le Crueset to throw them her way every couple of months as a marketing thing.
