Now that he's done it, does it mean Jesse's future husband can't?

I have Friday off, which works out well since that's the date of my grandfather's funeral.
I remember getting Patriots Day off back when I worked for a company based in Boston.
Woot, Doctor Who!! I made sure to add what the new eps to my dvr.
I have to work on Friday, but I'm leaving a few hours early for my annual physical.

Heh. I put that on Facebook yesterday. So cute!
I have Friday off. But since it's Earth Week, I'll earn it in overtime and sheer frustration between now and then. Oh wait, I mean funtimes. I love the earth!
I do have Royal Wedding Day off. Hooray for the Brits!
Haha, awesome.
So the Buffista nailpolish box made it smonster's way last week, and I benefited from it, and the yarn box will be making its way our way someday soon. smonster and I were running a bunch of errands this weekend, chief among them purging a bunch of stuff and taking it to the thrift store. We found a tube of posters (some mine, some hers) from when we lived together, and we were going to donate it, but then I was thinking: would any Buffistas be interested in a poster exchange? I could send the tube around to interested parties, and folks could take and add to it as they see fit. So far, the tube has a bunch of concert posters in it (A LOT of Corb Lund, some others), a few movie posters, two ALA READ posters (Nathan Fillion and Rachel Maddow), and a few other posters.
I can post this in Press, but I just wanted to gauge interest.
Wow, it looks like I could really just walk up to the barriers less than a mile from the finish, even now. Sweet!
Holy crap. OK, that was cool -- the first two men's finishers both broke the world record, one in his first marathon ever, and they both just kind of strolled off, hugged one another, look like they could go do whatever with the rest of their days.

Wow!
That happened in Oakland last month: the women's winner was in her first ever marathon. But I wouldn't have expected it to happen in Boston, which is such a famous marathon.
Also, wait a minute--don't you have to apply for the Boston Marathon, and have a time better than X (I forget what it is) to be allowed to run? How do you get in without having run one before?
And, according to the top American finisher, apparently the way to win races is prayer. So now you know.
I think this will be the end of my marathon watch and post....
