Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now I would like to buy a bathing suit. But the one I have is fine! I only wear it a couple of times a year anyway! Ah well.

My swimsuit is boring and practical and smooshes everything just right [link] in pink, and I paid less for it at keifer swim shop. Actually, speedo does make pretty suits I'd consider getting [link] [link] . If I ever need one for something other than laps.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a swimsuit obsession. Especially two pieces. For the amount of time I don't actually spend in the water, I have an insane number of them.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I AM buying a suit this year. The one I have is a cast-off of a friend's and it's 5 years old and no support. I think I am going to buy a two piece tankini from Newport News; I am never doing to have a non-underwire suit again.

I'm thinking this [link] in black. I've never spent more than $30 on a suit, but considering I go to the pool with M a LOT more in the last 2 summers, and a suit lasts me at least 5 years, I think I am ok with it.

Whereas I swim everyday, and have, um... 3 suits. All boring like the one linked. 2 retired, but kept just in case of primary suit failure. Or, you know, lost luggage.

If you want something that will last for-freaking-ever, go with the polyester suits. But matters less if you aren't frying it in chlorine on a weekly basis. Mine last about 6-7 months before things start sliding around.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My absolute favorite swimsuit is this top [link] with these bottoms [link] It's one of the very few bathing suits I've found that doesn't get uncomfortable after a few hours.

Yay, Perkins!!

Hil, ugh, I wish you hadn't posted that site. Because I didn't love how full-cut the bottom was on the suit I linked, and I really love this top [link] with this bottom. [link]

Maybe I could get a cute printed pricier top, and a pair of cheaper black bottoms? I'm really only worried about the boobs anyway.

WooHoo!

(I sorta obsessed with my swimming. I apologize for inflicting it on y'all. I always realize I'm getting craxy after the fact.)
